OUR ADVENTURE WITH TAYLOR AND FINDING A DRESS FOR THE WINTER BALL

Olivia and Carlie waiting for Taylor to try on another dress.

This was Taylor's favorite dress but it wouldn't zip up in the back and the shop didn't have another size in this style

This one was another favorite but Carlie thought it looked like an old swim suit that someone would of worn in the late 50's or 60's

Caught Taylor heading back to the dressing room to try on yet another dress. Sigh!

This is Tasha's "mom, I am going to kill her if she
doesn't make up her mind" look.

I think she was done having her picture taken and trying on dresses.

She finally found a dress that she likes. It only took her two and a half hours.

The girls fixing their hair with Ruth.
I think Carlie fell asleep with the flat iron in.
Maybe she is still exhausted from taking Taylor shopping the day before.

Taking a break to grab a bite to eat before heading out to the dance.

Here is the dress she finally decided on.
She liked it cause it matched her knee high converse shoes.
Yes....she wore them to the dance.

Posing for some last minute shots before heading out.
Yes....they started getting ready at 3pm to be to
the dance by 7:30pm. Go figure.

Great pictures of the gang at the Winter Ball 2010

And to think.....the next dance is in a couple months and we have to do the dress shopping all over again. Better get some much needed rest.

Relay for Life 2009

This year we had an awesome turn out for the Relay for Life. My team, Hunters for the Cure had a blast. We purchased purple camo shirts and set up a booth to help raise more money for the American Cancer Society. I want to thank everyone who participated on the team. If I didn't get your picture I apologize.
This is our booth. We sold many different camo items, glow sticks, and Frances and Dolphin made homemade egg rolls.
Someone from the team had to be on the track at all times through out the night. And yes....I stayed up ALL NIGHT LONG this year.

I had asked Tasha to take my camera around to take some pictures at the Relay and this is what was on my camera when she brought it back. I have decided to label it "Tasha's random craziness"
The Luminaria bags were lit all around the walking track.
The next morning only a few team members survived the night. We had a pancake breakfast and the rain didn't start until we started to load up the truck and trailer.
